About GUAA: Gauhati University Alumni Association (GUAA) is an association of Gauhati University alumni. Over past 68 years of its existence, alumni of the university has immensely contributed to the society, be it in terms of education, science and technology, and art and culture. In one sense the Gauhati University can be thought to be a huge think tank for the greater Assamese Society. Our alumni have spreader their wings, flew to the nooks and corners of the world and are making us proud. The registration number of the association is Regn. No. KAM/240/T/28 of 2004-2005 under S.R. Act XXI of 1860.
Facilities: : The GUAA owns a newly constructed Office cum Guest House in the Gauhati University Campus, which is available for use by the members of the association. The house is located just opposite to the University Guest House. The alumni house has an office, one visitor's room, two single-bedded rooms, one double-beded room, one meeting cum seminar room, toilet and bath facilities, 24 hours water supply, etc.
The Association sincerely acknowledge the financial help received from Honourable Member of the Parliament Mr Bhubaneswar Kalita from his MPLAD Fund for construction of the Alumni House.
