“Regional workshop on Intellectual Property Rights” is being organized by the Gauhati University IPR Cell during 22-23 March, 2018 at Gauhati University. This workshop is mainly for the benefit of Faculty members of GU and institutions of NE India. This workshop is in collaboration with Patent Information Center, ASTEC, Guwahati. The workshop will be held at AT Seminar Hall (Near PD Hall), GU We are planning for a small group of participants (about 30 participants) to make it more effective. Dr. B. B. Idage, Emeritus Scientist, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune has already given consent to deliver few lectures and take part in hands-on session on preparing patent and reports on IPR and related issues. Besides, Dr. Idage, there will be resource persons from ASTEC, Kolkata Patent Office and Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. There is no registration fee for the workshop.
